LEED Projects

Outlook Land Design has been working on LEED projects for many years. We currently have three LEED projects either in design or construction.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is an internationally recognized green building certification system. A LEED building or community will have been designed and built in ways that resulted in less environmental impact than a conventional development would have.

There are different LEED ratings a project can pursue. "Gold" has been the most common goal we have worked on. To obtain a "Gold" rating the project needs to have received points in all of the major categories. As civil engineering and landscape architectural consultants we typically contribute in the areas of water conservation, stormwater management, walkability and cycling facilities.
